The applications on granting refugee status on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan are received by the State Migration Service.

Decision on granting refugee status is adopted within three months from the date of registration of application.

The person granted refugee status and members of his/her family are provided with refugee card, as well as travel document entitling them to move beyond the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan in compliance with the Convention of 1951.
