In order to carry out paid labor activity in Azerbaijan foreigners and stateless persons are recommended to find a job before their visit to the country.

Every able-bodied and over 18 years old foreigner or stateless person should apply through employer for obtaining work and residence permit in order to work in Azerbaijan.

● Visa waiver countries
The citizens of these countries can enjoy visa-free entry to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
● Visa at airports
The citizens of these countries can obtain visa on arrival at the international airports of Azerbaijan.
● ASAN visa
The citizens of these countries can obtain electronic visa via “ASAN Visa” system within 3 working days or in urgent cases within 3 hours.

You can obtain your permit by presenting the receipt on payment at the place of application.

Work permit is issued for 1 year and can be extended each time for not more than 1 year. For this employer should apply to the ASAN Service Centers at least 30 days prior to expiration of the permit.
